Real Experience
I am a freelance Crestron Programmer specialising in smart home systems. Recently, I have been developing a full-stack smart home application with an HTML5 front-end and SIMPL#/SIMPL back-end, as well as working on some of London’s most prestigious residential properties.
I started my career at Crestron as a Technical Support Engineer before moving into residential integration with leading firms such as SMC and Cornflake. At Lucid, I am looking forward to working closely with the team and contributing to the development of the Blueprint framework.
Real Expertise
My expertise includes Vue.js, SIMPL/SIMPL+/SIMPL#, secure WebSocket communication, and troubleshooting complex smart home systems. I am Crestron Masters Certified, currently working towards Silver Certification, and have delivered high-end residential projects worldwide.
A career highlight for me was helping to deliver an ultra-high-spec private pop-up cinema in less than two weeks, this was a challenging but rewarding project. Colleagues would probably describe me as a keen programmer and a lover of biltong.
Real Life
Outside of work, I like to stay active. I play golf (despite what my handicap suggests), enjoy padel and spend plenty of time in the gym. Music is also a big passion of mine. I collect records, DJ and hope to one day build my own studio.
When things get stressful, I have learned to take a short break, reset and come back with a fresh perspective. My ambitions are to complete the smart home application I have been developing, deepen my C# skills and continue growing as a developer.
